Vívere

Vívere (from Latin: to live) is a conceptual proposal developed at LCI Bogotá that envisions transforming a former lot on Calle 53 into a vibrant cultural and wellbeing space. Inspired by the legacy of Rogelio Salmona and the Virgilio Barco Library, the design evokes an urban lung breathing at the city's geographic center.

Through this gallery you can explore an architectural program designed for disconnection and communal wellbeing. The proposal integrates relaxation areas, hydrotherapy, sauna, a library, a coffee bar and a coworking zone on the second level. Exterior spaces are designed to extend into an urban forest with kiosks, a fire pit and an illuminated park. The visual and spatial proposal combines honest materials — warm wood, polished concrete and rustic stone — wrapped in abundant vegetation and water in aquamarine tones. An organic-inspired architecture with natural light and cross ventilation, designed to evoke peace, safety and essential connection.
