Who is responsible
MH Interior Design, the brand of Maria Hernández, based in Bogotá, Colombia, is the data controller for the personal data received through this website. This policy follows Colombian Law 1581 of 2012 and Decree 1377 of 2013.

What data is collected
Through the contact form: name, phone or WhatsApp number, the language the site was being viewed in, and the date and time of submission. Providing them is voluntary and no service depends on it. No email, address, ID number or sensitive data is requested.
For the site to work and stay secure, the hosting provider processes technical data from each visit, such as the IP address and browser type. It is used to serve the pages, stop abusive form submissions, detect technical errors and count visits in aggregate. It is not used to identify anyone or for advertising.
The site uses no tracking or advertising cookies. It only stores the language and light or dark theme preference in the visitor's own browser.
What it is used for
To reply to the contact request, by WhatsApp or phone, about a potential interior design project, and to keep a record of the requests received. It is not used to send advertising or newsletters, and it is not sold or handed over to third parties for their own purposes.
Who else is involved
To run the site, MH Interior Design relies on providers that process the data on its behalf and only to deliver their service (data processors):
- Castillo Studio: builds and manages the site and its automations, and keeps the request log, the weekly backup and copies of the notice emails in its Google accounts.
- Vercel: hosts the site and counts visits, without cookies.
- Supabase: database where the requests are stored.
- Make: automation that sends the notice for each request and the weekly summary, and feeds the request log and the backup.
- Google (Gmail, Sheets and Drive): notice and summary emails, request log and weekly backup.
- Sentry: technical error log for the site, without the form data.
Data outside Colombia
These providers may store the information on servers outside Colombia, for example in the United States. By submitting the form and accepting this policy, the sender authorizes their data to be processed there, only for the purposes described here.
How long it is kept
Requests are kept for up to 12 months from submission and are then deleted from the database. Copies kept in the notice and weekly summary emails, the request log and the backups are not deleted automatically; they are removed as soon as the person asks. If the conversation becomes a project, the data is kept for as long as the relationship lasts and for the time the law requires.
Anyone can ask for their data to be deleted sooner.
Rights of the person providing the data
To know, update and correct their data; to request proof of the authorization they gave; to know how it has been used; to revoke the authorization or ask for deletion when there is no legal or contractual duty to keep it; to access it free of charge; and to file complaints with Colombia's Superintendence of Industry and Commerce (SIC).
How to exercise them
Write to maleheres21@gmail.com or WhatsApp +57 305 770 6080 with your name, the phone number used for the request and what you are asking for. Maria Hernández handles these requests personally.
Inquiries are answered within 10 business days at most, and claims (correction, update, deletion or revocation) within 15 business days at most. If that is not possible, the reason and the new date are given, no more than 5 additional business days for inquiries or 8 for claims.
Before filing a complaint with the SIC, the inquiry or claim process with MH Interior Design must first be completed.
Minors
The form is not aimed at minors and their data is not knowingly collected.
Effective date and changes
This policy is effective from September 14, 2026. The database will remain in force for as long as MH Interior Design operates. Any significant change will be published on this page with its new date.
